Claudia Celina Montes

Claudia Celina Montes is a singer and the leader of El Conjunto Celina, a musical group dedicated to preserving the traditional Cuban music legacy of her grandmother, the legendary vocalist Celina González of the duo Celina y Reutilio. Based in Southwest Florida, Montes's performance style and repertoire focus on honoring her family's musical heritage.

Under her leadership, the group has released a series of singles, including Santa Barbara (Viva Shango), Babalu Aye:San Lazaro, La Casa De Yagua, El Hijo De Eleggua, and Pedacito De Mi Vida, which are compiled into the album Yemayalodde (EcHoeS of CeliNA y REutiio). Montes has also collaborated with Cuban musician Pepito Montes on the single Ajiaco/Legado to continue presenting these historical sounds.
