Tony Velázquez

Tony Velázquez is an experienced Puerto Rican pianist, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, and musical director from Juana Díaz. Over several decades in the salsa genre, he has worked as an academic, producer, and performer.

Velázquez is known as the musical director and architect for the group Patria y Cultura. Throughout his career, his credits as a producer, arranger, and director have included collaborations with notable salsa artists and ensembles, including Víctor Manuelle, NG-2, Costa Brava, and the orchestra of Elías Lopés.
