Primi Cruz

Primitivo "Primi" Cruz is a salsa singer born on January 7, 1956, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Although born on the island, he was raised in Chicago, Illinois, before returning to Puerto Rico in 1972 at the age of 17 to pursue his career in music.

As a vocalist, Cruz has contributed to several salsa productions. His discography includes the 1984 album "Vamos a Gozar." He also appeared in the 2022 release "Viva La Salsa (Restored)."
