Eric Maldonado

Eric Maldonado is a salsa producer, sound engineer, and bandleader of Puerto Rican descent. Born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey, he grew up in a musical household alongside his father and nine siblings—six brothers and three sisters—all of whom played instruments.

Maldonado began his professional career in the New Jersey and New York regions before relocating to Tampa, Florida. In Tampa, he established himself as the CEO and chief engineer of the Paris Recording Studio, a facility he has operated for more than two decades.

After recognizing a lack of active Latin salsa bands in the Tampa Bay area despite a strong pool of local talent, Maldonado founded the Paris All-Stars Orchestra. The ensemble was created to showcase local musicians while delivering a sound that bridges traditional, old-school salsa with contemporary arrangements.
