Angel "Pajay" Torres

Angel "Pajay" Torres (also spelled Angel "Pajai" Torres) is a Puerto Rican salsa pianist, arranger, and music educator from the municipality of Naranjito, Puerto Rico. Known for his work as both a performer and behind-the-scenes director, Torres has spent years contributing to the tropical music scene as an instrumentalist and a teacher to aspiring musicians in his hometown.

Torres served as the pianist and arranger for the group Conjunto Sabrosura, collaborating alongside lead vocalist Mayte Pérez. His arranging and performance credits also include working on projects for other salsa artists, such as arranging and playing piano on Charlie Maldonado's holiday single "Esto Sabe A Fiesta." For his contributions to Puerto Rican music, Torres was recognized on the island's Z-93 radio program "Músicos de Oro."
