Eric Pabón

Eric Arnaldo Pabón Flores, known professionally as "El Mariscal del Soneo," was born on December 7, 1970, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and raised in Salinas. He was introduced to music through his family; his maternal grandfather, Víctor Flores Coss, was a traditional country trovador from the Cayaguax neighborhood of San Lorenzo, and his mother, Carmen, actively encouraged her children to sing.
In 2005, singer Frankie Vázquez invited Pabón to join the Soneros del Coquí Orchestra in Salinas. He performed as a chorus singer for three years with the group under the direction of its founder, Juan Rivera Ortiz. Pabón subsequently launched a solo career as a salsa vocalist, releasing tracks such as "Volvamos" and "Madre Querida."
