Yaissa Jimenez is an Afro-Dominican poet, writer, and performance artist whose work explores themes of identity, nostalgia, and Caribbean culture. She has collaborated with the Caribbean art journal Forgotten Lands and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, where she has performed specially commissioned works. Her creative output frequently addresses the complexities of cultural adjustment, literature, and the modern Caribbean experience.
