Vity Ruiz is a Puerto Rican salsa singer who began his solo career in the late 1980s. The younger brother of salsa legend Frankie Ruiz, he is best known for his work in the salsa romántica style. His debut album, Caricias, was released in 1989 and featured the hit title track.
