Augusto Lage Isaac is a Cuban percussionist, composer, and producer with over thirty years of experience performing in prominent Cuban popular dance music orchestras. Throughout his career, he has worked as a percussionist within Cuba's music scene.
In 2024, he released "Tambor y Salsa", the debut album for his musical project Augusto Lage y La Excelencia. Distributed by the historic Cuban record label EGREM, the 13-track album was composed and produced by Lage, blending traditional Afro-Cuban percussion with contemporary salsa.
