Roosevelt Cordova, artistically known as Roosevelt el Presidente de la Salsa, is a Peruvian salsa singer and sonero based in Los Angeles, California. Known for employing an old-school singing technique and a creative freestyle sonero approach, he established a presence by performing with several active ensembles on the West Coast of the United States.
His recording career began to take shape with 2018 singles such as Lo Logre, Ejemplo de Valentia, and Un Nuevo Cantante. After releasing Llego la Navidad in 2023, he expanded his discography in 2024 with a series of singles, including El Tambor Y La Clave, Pa' Ponerte a Gozar, Sentimental, and geographically themed tracks like Canto a Mi PerĂș and La Fiesta Es en Colombia.
In 2025, Cordova released the singles Si Me Amaras and Te Mereces. These releases led to his 2026 album, Ni Antes, Ni Después, which showcases his signature blend of traditional salsa rhythms and contemporary arrangements.
