
Román y sus Timberos is a German timba and salsa band based in Nuremberg, Germany. Founded and directed by the pianist, composer, and arranger Roman Gabla, the ensemble consists of young musicians who have previously performed in various established Latin music groups. The band is dedicated to modern Cuban music, blending timba and Latin jazz, and features authentic Cuban vocalists, including singers Yina Martinez Lavin and Jari Rojas.
The group made its debut with the release of tracks like 'Un Comienzo Sin Final' and 'Negrito Bailador,' establishing their signature high-energy sound. Román y sus Timberos has continued to expand their catalog with singles such as 'Para Tí' in 2020 and 'Adiós Amor' in 2021. Their subsequent releases, including the 2024 single 'Los Timberos Llegaron' and the 2026 single 'Sir Duke,' showcase the group's ongoing activity in the contemporary timba and Latin jazz scene.
