Cápsicum Orquesta is a salsa and son cubano group based in Mexico City. The ensemble, which includes songwriter and band member Carlos Toledo, focuses on creating and performing original compositions. Their sound draws direct inspiration from the traditional "salsa brava" style of New York and Puerto Rico.
The group released their debut album, "Prueba el Sabor," in 2017, which showcased their unconventional lyrical and musical themes. The orchestra continued their activity over the following years, releasing their next album, "La Esquina," in 2025.
