Son De Maríara is a youth salsa group from the town of Maríara, located in the Carabobo state of Venezuela. The ensemble was founded by producer and composer Charlie Guzmán alongside Karla Montes. Conceived as a social project with the mission of transforming and saving lives in their local community using music as a vehicle, the group features a lineup of seven singers and highlights percussionist Orlando Villegas as a key part of their rhythmic section.
In 2025, Son De Maríara signed with Salsaneo Records, led by president Steve Guasch. The group officially debuted that same year with the release of their single "Somos Alegría."
