Gianfranco Burga is a Peruvian salsa and timba singer born in 1989 in La Perla, Callao. He established his solo career in collaboration with the international production company Salsomanía, directed by Jorge Acevedo. This partnership resulted in the 2021 album Salsa con Joason, which featured compositions written by Acevedo.
Burga, who performs with his group Gianfranco Burga & Orquesta, regularly performs throughout Peru. He has also participated in collaborative recordings, such as the track "Yo soy peruano del mundo" alongside fellow artists Melcochita, Tito Manrique, and Cesar Correa.
In 2025, Burga released a series of new singles, including "Mentirosa," "Me están mirando," and "Rumbera," which was released on July 8, 2025. This was followed by the release of "Cambiando la Formula" in July 2025.
