
Julio Albino y su Orquesta Secreto a Voces is a Puerto Rican salsa ensemble led by director and timbalero Julio Albino. The group is known for a traditional salsa sound that features classic brass arrangements and a robust percussion section under Albino's leadership on the timbales.
In 2024, the orchestra released the singles "Mira Loque Viene Por Ahi" and "Paila de Guarachero." The production of "Paila de Guarachero" highlighted an international collaboration, with recording sessions held at Piolo Sound Studios in Venezuela by producer VĂctor GĂĄmez, as well as Magic Rythms Studios in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, by Nino Segarra and JosĂ© L. Feliciano. The track was composed by the late Ăngel Santos Jr., arranged by Wilmer Herrera, and featured lead vocals by Ray PagĂĄn. The orchestra's catalog also includes "Un Negro Sin Vacunar," which showcased compositions by Ăngel Santos Jr., arrangements by Albert SĂĄnchez, and vocals by Fernando Mercado and Julio Vigo, alongside contributions from trumpet player Jorge "Pitufo" Maestre and bassist Wilmer Herrera.
