Cortadito is a Miami-based traditional Cuban music group specializing in son cubano and early 20th-century genres, including son montuno, guaracha, bolero, and nengón. Founded around 2012, the ensemble was initially formed as a duo by tresero, composer, and arranger Jose Elias, who previously co-founded Conjunto Progreso. Over its tenure, the group's lineup has included musicians Santiago McCook, Tony Perigo, Julio César Rodríguez Delet, Jose Elias, and Alberto Pantaleón.
Throughout the 2020s, Cortadito released several recordings, including the singles "Casa de la Trova" in 2020 and "Delicia Caribeña" in 2021. In 2025, they released the singles "A Yemaya" and "Aquí Te Traigo Mi Son (Radio Version)" leading up to their first full-length studio album, "The Guajiro Triangle." The album's concept and title pay tribute to the geographical and cultural connection between Santiago de Cuba, Havana, and Miami in fostering the evolution of Cuban son.
