Rene Figueroa y Su Orquesta Son Clave is a Puerto Rican salsa ensemble directed by percussionist René Figueroa, who performs on bongo and campana. The band began its career as an eight-piece group performing covers at weddings and private events. Over a ten-year trajectory, the orchestra expanded to a thirteen-member lineup and began performing at prominent festivals in Puerto Rico.
The orchestra's recorded output launched in 2022 with the single "Conmigo Hay Que Contar." The track featured a musical lineup that included trumpeters Héctor Pantoja and Héctor Figueroa, saxophonists Luis Marcano and Omar Marrero, tres player Noel Rivera, bassist Edwin Meléndez, pianist Georgie, timbalero Eugenio "Geñito" Figueroa, and conguero Jaime Rodríguez, with vocals by Esteban Cintrón, Jorge Berganzo, and Octavio Polanco. The group continued releasing salsa singles, including "Explosion de Amor" and "Estar Enamorado" (featuring Héctor Fito Bataola) in 2023, followed by "Pa los Rumberos" (featuring Esteban Cintrón) in 2024.
