Christian y Rey is a Cuban musical duo consisting of brothers Christian and Rey Alonso. Formed around 2015, the duo carries on a distinguished musical legacy in Cuban dance music, being the sons of Pachito Alonso and the grandsons of the celebrated Cuban singer Pacho Alonso. They perform contemporary Cuban dance music, primarily focusing on the timba and salsa genres.
The duo launched their album Sandunguéate in 2020, establishing their modern timba sound. They followed up with several single releases, including "Plomo" and "Soldadito de Plomo" in 2021, and "El Santo" and "Te Quiero Pa' mi" in 2022. They continued their output with the single "Chilyn" in 2023.
Between 2024 and 2025, Christian y Rey remained active with multiple single releases. Their catalog grew to include "Ahora Que Me Hago Yo" and "Sin Filtro" in 2024, followed by "Bonita", "Voy a Darmela", "Somos Elite", and "En La Lucha" in 2025.
