Tony Santana is a Havana-born musician, producer, and dancer who immigrated to Montreal, Canada, in 1993. Raised by a mother who was a professional pianist, author, and composer, Santana grew up surrounded by the artistic and musical community of central Havana. In addition to his work in music production, audio editing, and DJing, he graduated in physical education and became a professional dancer and certified dance instructor in Canada.
Santana's recordings heavily feature traditional Cuban and Latin rhythms, including cha-cha-cha, salsa, and Latin jazz. In 2022, he released the single "La Loca" along with three albums: "A bailar", "Bailando Chachacha", and "Instrumentals Latin (Volumen 1)". He followed these releases with the single "Sabrosura" in 2023.
Between 2024 and 2025, Santana maintained a consistent release schedule. In 2024, he published the singles "Ella si corta el bacalao", "Pepa La Picara", and "Las Cinco Hermanas". In 2025, he released the full-length album "Doble Sentido" alongside the singles "El Timbre (Salsa)" and two arrangements of "Las Piruetas del Amor" in both salsa romantica and cha-cha-cha styles.
