Maikel Dinza & Soneros de la Juventud is a Cuban orchestra founded in 2016 by its director, Maikel Dinza Hechavarría. Dinza, who serves as a multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer, and arranger, formed the group to preserve and update traditional Cuban musical styles. The orchestra focuses on delivering Cuban folk structures, including son cubano, son montuno, guaracha, salsa, and timba, to dancers while elevating the lyrics to a poetic level.
The group's discography includes the 2019 album 'Pá Que Bailen To', alongside the album 'Regalando Corazones'. In 2022, they released the album 'Retro Salsa', which featured 'Hilo Rojo' (a collaboration with Septeto Acarey) and 'Que cosas tiene la vida', a composition written by César Pedroso and originally recorded by Pupy y Los Que Son.
The orchestra continued to develop its repertoire with the release of the single 'Será Que Soy Candela' in 2022, followed by the single 'MONTEROS' in 2023.
