Donaldo Flores is a Cuban singer born on February 17, 1966, in Amarillas, a small village in the Matanzas province of Cuba. He began performing as an amateur singer in 1984 and transitioned to a professional career in 1992. In his early professional years, he sang with the groups Yaguarimú and Manguaré, notably replacing vocalist Aramis Galindo in Yaguarimú. He later collaborated with Maraca y Otra Vision from 1998 to 2000, worked with the group Traje Nuevo, and performed as a lead vocalist for Adalberto Alvarez y su Son.
Flores subsequently established an international presence, forming and joining musical groups across England, France, Switzerland, and Japan. He eventually relocated to Honduras, where he established a salsa school focused on teaching dance and cultivating the genre.
Spanning the genres of salsa, timba, and son cubano, his catalog includes the studio albums El Solitario, released in 2003, and ¡abran Paso!, Que Me Voy... in 2005. Flores has remained active in the recording studio, releasing the single Olvidate de Mí in 2024.
