DJ Pepe El Rumbero, also associated with the name Peppe Artaserse, is a Sicilian DJ and music producer specializing in Latin music genres like salsa, timba, and bachata. As a producer, he has focused on blending different regional Latin sounds, connecting elements of urban New York salsa with modern tropical rhythms.
He has collaborated broadly across the international tropical music scene. His production credits include serving as the executive producer for the bachata single Bésame by Gianna, which featured arrangement and production by Ivan Venot. He also collaborated with DJ Venot, Cico DJ, DJ Giampy, and Venezuelan sonero Martin Gastelo on the tribute track Tu Voz. Additionally, his work includes the production project The Crossroad (Salsa Culture Connection).
