
San Miguel Perez, known professionally as San Miguel, is a Cuban-born singer, songwriter, guitarist, and tres player based in Los Angeles. Recognized in his native Cuba as "El Tresero Moderno" for his mastery of the Cuban tres guitar, he gained early prominence performing with the legendary salsa orchestra Adalberto Alvarez y Su Son and was also a member of the New Generation of the Buena Vista Social Club.
Now based in Southern California, San Miguel leads his own ensemble, performing a repertoire that spans timba, salsa, and other tropical genres. His recorded output includes the 2022 single "Cargando Pilas," followed by "Sola" and "Amigos Pa' Celebrar" in 2024. In 2025, he expanded his discography with the single "Ando Mal" and the albums "Ropa Vieja" and "Dale Tumbao - Tributo a Celia Cruz y Tito Puente."
