Papo Medina is a salsa sonero and the founder of the musical ensemble Expresión Latina. Blending traditional Puerto Rican salsa with Colombian influences, Medina's productions have featured work with arranger and director Orlando Libreros, alongside guest artists Diego and Jaime Gallé.
Medina began releasing solo material under his own name with the 2017 single "La Rumba De Papo." This was followed by his studio album "Nunca Es Tarde" in 2019, the seasonal single "La Campana del Lechon" in 2020, and the album "Realidad" in 2021. In 2024, Medina released "Salsa Pa' Todo el Dia," a track composed by Cuban songwriter Jorge del Valle, arranged by Ramón Sánchez Audinot, and featuring percussionist Luisito Quintero.
