Ranfiel is a Dominican singer whose musical career spans the tropical genres of merengue, bachata, and salsa. Born in the Dominican Republic, his early musical work was rooted in merengue. After exploring other styles, he returned to this genre in December 2023 with the release of the single "La huella de tu amor."
In September 2024, Ranfiel crossed over into salsa with a tropical adaptation of the classic bachata song "Pena," originally by Luis Segura. The recording was well received in the Dominican Republic, showcasing his ability to adapt traditional bachata into a salsa arrangement.
Ranfiel continued his work in the salsa genre with major releases under his catalog. In 2025, he released the studio album "Tengo Derecho A Ser Feliz." He followed this in 2026 with the release of the single "No Discutamos."
