Salserín is a Venezuelan salsa youth band formed on July 21, 1993, in Caracas, Venezuela. The group is notable for being the first children and youth salsa orchestra in the world. Merging traditional salsa with romantic pop-salsa influences, they played a significant role in introducing Latin music styles to younger generations across Latin America.
The group's recording career includes classic releases such as "Con Mucho Swing" and "Entre Tu Y Yo" in 1997, followed by "Con Nuevo Swing" in 1998. Salserín continued to release material over the decades, spanning genres such as salsa, timba, and merengue, with albums like "Robando Corazones" in 2009 and live productions including "Salserín (En Vivo)" in 2016 and "Karibe 15 Años (En Vivo)" in 2021.
