PIPOJUANY, born Juan Carlos Pérez Cárdenas, is a Cuban pianist, composer, and vocalist. He began his formal musical training in Cuba, studying at the Conservatorio Alejandro García Caturla before continuing his education at the Escuela Nacional de Arte of Cuba. Early in his career, he performed under the artistic name Bimbo G.
His musical style is characterized by a fusion of Cuban timba, salsa, reggaeton, rap, and reggae. In 2025, he partnered with the Bibomusic label to release the album Con Caribe, a production showcasing Caribbean dance rhythms and modern Cuban sounds.
In addition to his album output, PIPOJUANY released a series of singles in 2025, including "Chiquibombom," "Te Traigo Salsa," "Muevete y Meneate," and "Mi Tumbao Te Quema."
