Yari Moré, also known as "The Romantic of Salsa," is a Colombian singer and bandleader who began his musical career in Bogotá, Colombia. In 1984, he recorded his debut LP of ballads, which achieved commercial success in his home country and across Central America, fueled by the popular single "Dame." Performing with his group, the Yari Moré Latin Band, he developed a diverse repertoire consisting of salsa, cumbia, merengue, boleros, and cha-cha-chá.
Over his career, Moré has performed at major Latin music festivals and events, including Miami's Festival Calle Ocho, Fiesta Broadway, Telemundo's Fiesta Del Sol, and the Colombian Independence Festival at Flushing Meadows Park in New York. His recording catalog includes the 1994 album "El Último Romántico," followed by a series of later releases, such as the singles "Déjamela a Mí" and "Pegaito" in 2024, and "El Amante" in 2025. In 2026, he released the single "Quiero Mirarte a Ti" and the album "Romances en Salsa Vol.1."
