Son De Cali is a Colombian salsa group founded by singers Javier Vásquez and Willy García. Both vocalists had already achieved international recognition in the salsa genre before joining forces to establish their own cooperative project in Colombia.
The group's early recording history includes the albums Estilo Propio and Creciendo, both released in 2003. During their primary run, the band was active for eight years, building a loyal following with their energetic performances and distinct approach to salsa music.
In 2020, the group's catalog expanded with the albums Cambiando La Historia and Javier Vasquez. This period of activity also featured the release of several digital singles, including Y Entonces, Qué Nos Pasó, Lo Que Te Sobre, Te Amo, Me Emocionas, and No Quiero Dormir.
