The Cuban Project is a Latin music group based in Bucharest, Romania. The ensemble was formed by Cuban musicians Alexander Himely (percussion), Omar Secada (piano), and Rafael Olivera Sanchez (vocals). The band members originally met and performed together while they were members of the Romanian group Mandinga, later establishing their own collaborative project.
The group's repertoire features various Cuban and Latin genres, including salsa, son cubano, cha-cha-chá, bolero, bachata, and reggaeton. Their recorded catalog includes the singles "Ta Buena" and "Mi Vecina", as well as the single "Si Tu Me Miras".
