Celina González (1928–2015) was a prominent Cuban vocalist specializing in Afro-Cuban music. She became a major star in her homeland during the 1940s, initially gaining recognition as part of the successful duo Celina y Reutilio.
Throughout her decades-long career, González became a key figure in Cuban music, celebrated for her contributions to traditional styles. Her later discography includes recordings such as the 1995 album "La Rica Cosecha" and the 2013 release "Yo Soy el Punto Cubano".
González passed away in 2015 at the age of 86 after suffering from a long cerebrovascular illness.
