Piso 21 is a Colombian Latin pop and urban music group formed in Medellín in 2007. The group was originally founded by Pablo Mejía (Pablito), Juan David Huertas (El Profe), David Escobar (Dim), and Juan David Castaño (El Llane). The band's name, which translates to "Floor 21," was inspired by the 21st floor of a building in Medellín where the musicians gathered to rehearse during their early years.
The group's musical style incorporates elements of Latin pop, reggaeton, and R&B. Over the course of their career, Piso 21 achieved significant commercial success across Latin America, Colombia, and Spain with international hit singles such as "Me Llamas", "Besándote", and "Déjala Que Vuelva". While the lineup has evolved over the years, with Juan David Castaño (El Llane) and David Lorduy Hernández (Lorduy) among its past members, the group has maintained a consistent presence in the Latin music industry.
