Leonardo Garcia is a Colombian pianist, composer, and bandleader who fronts the Latin music ensemble Son Horizonte, also known as Leonardo Garcia y Son Horizonte. Formed over a decade ago, the group performs a wide range of Latin styles, including classic salsa dura, salsa jazz, son montuno, salsa urbana, timba, and Latin jazz. Garcia's musical style is heavily influenced by his Colombian heritage; his mother is from Bogotá and his father is from Santa Marta.
Throughout his career, Garcia has released multiple albums and singles, including the full-length productions "On the Cloud" in 2022 and "La Fabrica No Para" in 2024. His catalog also features holiday releases such as "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" (2021) and "O Christmas Tree" (2022), alongside tracks like "Leo's Jam 2.0" (2024) and "Sonic Horizon" (2025).
Garcia has continued to release music into the mid-2020s, with singles such as "Atraccion" (2025), "Fotografias" (2026), and "Amarrado a Tu Cuerpo" (2026). He and his orchestra, which features Grammy-affiliated recording artists, regularly perform at festivals, universities, and nightclubs.
