Marlon Araujo, also known by the artistic moniker "Marlon, el Volcán de la Salsa," is a Venezuelan salsa singer, songwriter, producer, and sound engineer. Born on March 28, 1976, in the Monte Piedad sector of the 23 de Enero parish in Caracas, Venezuela, he later moved with his family to the El Valle parish. Araujo developed an interest in music as a child, inspired by his father's singing talent.
In Venezuela, Araujo participated in the Venevision reality television show Estrellas de la Música, where he performed alongside singer Sergio Pérez. Currently residing in Spain, he has continued his musical career with releases that include the 2025 album Tiempo, as well as the singles "Tantita Pena," "La Libertad," and "Eres un Angel."
