Lisett Morales was born and raised in Havana, Cuba, where her father, Severino Morales, recognized her singing talent. She moved to Miami, Florida, and began her professional music career around 2002, auditioning for her first orchestra, El Septeto Ahà Na'. In 2004, she released the album "Ahi Na Ma Con La Piña Pela'", establishing her presence in the genres of salsa, son cubano, and timba.
Known as "La Mulata del Sabor", Morales released an album of the same name in 2012. That same year, Maestro Isidro Infante invited her to Martinique to perform alongside Domingo Quiñones in the tribute project "Tribute to the Queen of Salsa and the Singer of Singers". She has also shared stages and collaborated with artists such as Pedrito Calvo Jr., Willie Panamá, and Reinier Bonachea.
Morales has maintained a consistent recording career, releasing albums like "Otra Oportunidad" in 2019, "Creación Divina" in 2020, and "Identidad Sonera" in 2023. Her later works include the live album "Fania Time (Live)" in 2024, followed by the 2025 singles "La Voz Del Son" and "La Guarachera De Cuba".
