Cindy Sotelo is a Peruvian singer, musician, music teacher, and social communicator from Lima, Peru. She began her musical activities at a young age, singing alongside her father, who is also a musician, from the age of four. By twelve, Sotelo began studying the saxophone and the guitar, which allowed her to perform professionally at various artistic events. At the age of eighteen, she also began teaching music in schools.
Over the course of her career, Sotelo has participated in major musical platforms in Peru. She was a contestant on the television singing competition La Voz Perú and later joined the salsa group Las Doradas de la Salsa, alongside Melanie Rose, Karla Zapata, Esthephany Valenzuela, and Indira Orbegoso, a project supported by promoter Mauricio Diez Canseco.
As a solo artist, Sotelo has focused on popular rhythms, particularly salsa. In 2026, she released her single "Mentiras Tuyas."
