Carlos Pérez y Su Orquesta is a Colombian salsa ensemble based in the city of Medellín, specializing in classic salsa, Cuban music, and Afro-Caribbean rhythms. The group was founded in 2021 by Carlos Andrés Pérez, a musician originally from the municipality of Amalfi, Antioquia. The orchestra is recognized for its traditional live performance style, which they showcased in unedited recording formats such as the Living Sessions project.
The orchestra's recorded work includes the 2024 album, Con Posición. This was followed by a series of singles in 2025, which included the tracks Ya No Quiero Mariposas, PA LA CALLE, YA NO TE PUEDO QUERER, and DEL CHOCÓ PAL MUNDO.
In 2026, Carlos Pérez y Su Orquesta continued to release music, issuing the singles EL REY, SABOR DE CALLE, and Ella Es.
