Arturo y su Azucaribe is a Swiss-Cuban son cubano ensemble founded in 2012 in Lucerne, Switzerland, by Swiss bassist, composer, and producer Arthur "Arturo" Furrer. The group focuses on traditional Cuban son, featuring Furrer as the bandleader, bassist, composer, and backing vocalist, alongside Cuban lead singer Roby Pulido Gonzalez.
The band made its recording debut with the 2018 single "Mi Son Cubano," which was followed by their debut album, "Llegó Mi Son," and the single "Amor deja el rencor" in 2019. Over the years, the group has performed at various live events, including the Latino Festival Zug in 2025 and JazzAscona.
Arturo y su Azucaribe continued releasing music into the mid-2020s. Their later releases include the 2024 single "Tu Amor Soy Yo" and the 2025 singles "Hay Amor" and "Mi Vecina." The track "Mi Vecina" was composed and arranged by Furrer and recorded between Switzerland and Venezuela.
