Carlitos Padron is a percussionist, producer, and bandleader originally from Caracas, Venezuela. Inspired by two family members active in the Venezuelan music industry, he developed his interest in percussion instruments at a young age. In 2000, he relocated to New York City to pursue his career in the city's music scene.
In 2006, Padron established the group Rumberos del Callejón. The ensemble's debut album, "De la nada," received positive critical reviews both in Venezuela and internationally. Over a career spanning nearly 25 years, Padron has worked as a performer, percussionist, and producer.
