Claritzel Miyares, known artistically as Claritzel, is a Cuban singer and songwriter born on February 11, 1982, in the city of Holguín. Her formal musical education began at age nine in 1991 at the Escuela Vocacional de Arte, where she focused on choral singing. In 1996, she entered the Conservatorio Esteban Salas before transferring to the Amadeo Roldán Conservatory in Havana, where she graduated with a degree in choral conducting.
Early in her professional career, Claritzel performed as a chorus member and dancer with the historic Tropicana Cabaret, performing in both Havana and Tenerife. She eventually established her residence between Spain and the United Kingdom, continuing her career as a solo performer and songwriter.
Her discography includes the single "La Latina," released in May 2024, which combines traditional salsa arrangements with modern production. Claritzel is also the artist behind the single "De Ida y Vuelta."
