Metropolitan All Stars is a Cuban salsa ensemble formed in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Conceived by the Spanish pianist, composer, arranger, and Envidia record label founder Luis A. Domínguez, the project brings together prominent musicians from premier Cuban orchestras.
The group focuses on standard danceable salsa ("salsa bailable") in a traditional sonero style, delivering updated arrangements of classic salsa repertoire. On June 21, 2021, they released their ten-track album, Salsa para Bailar, under the Envidia label. Their discography also includes the single "Un Poco Más."
