ChaChaChalina is a Dutch Latin fusion band based in The Hague. The group was formed in 2019 at the ArtEZ Conservatory of Music by lead vocalist and conga player Chalina Smit alongside Venezuelan master percussionist Gerardo Rosales, who is known for his work with Maite Hontelé and the Cubop City Bigband.
The ensemble fuses elements of salsa and Latin jazz, with Smit directing the group's rhythm section. In 2026, the band released the single "La reina de la salsa." Written and composed by Smit, the song is a tribute to Celia Cruz and features a dance-oriented rhythm arrangement supported by Rosales.
