DescargaLab is an Italo-Cuban salsa collective and multi-ethnic musical laboratory that has been active for more than twenty years, blending Caribbean rhythms with social activism. Based in Italy, the group is a promoter of the Rete Antimafia del Sud Ovest di Milano and focuses its work on political and social themes, including migrant memory, solidarity, and life in the urban peripheries. Led by vocalist Marina "la Regina del Giambellino" Puglia, the collective's flexible lineup features guitarist Federico "Compay Feffundo" Sever and pianist Andrea "el Bufalo de la Salsa" Tammaro.
The band's musical style fuses modern salsa with diverse cultural influences, including the Neapolitan dialect and distinct social commentary. In 2025, DescargaLab released the single "Muy Bonito Se Pone," continuing their efforts to depict the realities of suburban communities through Latin music.
