Mateo Lorenzo y Su Yambeque is a salsa and timba ensemble based in Perth, Western Australia. Led by composer and director Mateo Lorenzo, the group has carved out a unique space in the Latin music community, linking Western Australia with the wider international salsa scene.
The group's discography includes the album Soy La Rumba in 2022, followed by the project Cantantes del Mundo, which saw a single release in 2024 and a full-length album in 2025. In 2025, the band also released the album Gózate El Carnaval, showcasing their blend of classic salsa rhythms and contemporary timba.
