Richard "Saoco" Rodríguez is a Venezuelan salsa singer, songwriter, and bandleader originally from Guarenas in the state of Miranda. Performing with his group, Richard Saoco y su Orquesta, he is part of a contemporary generation of salsa musicians from Venezuela, where he contributes both as a lead vocalist and composer.
Rodríguez launched his recording career with the release of his debut musical production, "Soñé Lo Que Soy," in 2021. This was followed by the single "Pronto Volverás" in 2022. He has continued to expand his catalog with self-written material, including the single "Nuestro Barrio" and the 2023 release "Todos Somos Celosos."
