Big Naimi is an independent Cuban rapper, songwriter, producer, and DJ born in Havana, Cuba. Initially starting as a self-taught musician, he eventually expanded his knowledge in musical arrangements, performance, and production. In addition to composing songs for other artists, he serves as the director for his project, Big Naimi y su Timbarap, an orchestra focused on fusing hip-hop and rap with traditional son cubano, salsa, and Cuban timba.
The project entered the recording landscape in 2022 with singles like "Lo Que Se Va", "No Puede Ser Asi", and "Se Te Fue la Musa". In 2023, the group released the album "Amores por Internet", followed in 2024 by the album "Tamo en Cosa" and the singles "Eso se ve feo" and "Yo Me Lo Gane". In 2025, the band released "Ella es mi todo", an adaptation of the classic vallenato song composed by the late Colombian artist Kaleth Morales, followed by the single "Legado" in 2026.
