Carlos Xavier is a San Francisco-born singer, songwriter, and composer of Nicaraguan descent. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Xavier developed a musical style that blends traditional romantic salsa with elements of Latin balladry, R&B, and pop. His arrangements often integrate diverse genre influences—such as gospel, blues, rock, and vallenato—while remaining within the rhythmic structure of salsa. To capture this fusion, he has collaborated on projects with East Coast musicians and New York-based salsa producers.
His recorded catalog includes the 2019 album "Vive Todo Ahora," which featured both tropical and pop arrangements. Following this release, Xavier issued a succession of singles throughout the early 2020s, including "Prometo" (2020), "Mi Gente" (2020), "Como Es Posible" (2021), and "No Pretendo Ser" (2022).
