Born in Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela, Robert Incelli is a saxophonist, singer, composer, and bandleader specializing in Latin jazz, salsa, and mambo. Raised by a father who was a classically trained trumpeter and music educator, Incelli mastered both the alto and tenor saxophones. He later relocated to Los Angeles, California, where he established himself within the United States West Coast Latin music circuit.
Over his career, Incelli has served as a bandleader and musical director, collaborating with prominent figures in the tropical genre. He has maintained a close artistic relationship with Venezuelan salsa icon Oscar D'León, who served as his mentor and collaborator.
Incelli's recording catalog features albums such as Asi Se Goza (2011), Detalles (2012), and Baila Conmigo. His single releases include "Adicto A Ti" (2011), "Yerba Mala" (2011), and "Mi Triste Realidad" (2012). He has continued active production into the mid-2020s, releasing a 2025 rendition of the classic "Capullito De Aleli" featuring an arrangement by Oscar D'León, followed by the 2026 single "Traicionera."
