Born in Paterson, New Jersey, Danny Presz was introduced to salsa music at an early age by his older brother, who was friends with the artists Junito Ruiz and Frankie Ruiz. Before launching his solo career, Presz established himself in the regional music scene as one of the most sought-after background vocalists in the New York metropolitan area.
Presz transitioned to a solo career in the early 2010s, releasing the single "Que Necesito Verla" in 2012. He followed this with "Abrazame," a track composed by Rudy Perez and Mark Portman and arranged by Efrain "Junito" Davila. Both songs were featured on his debut salsa album, "Inicio," which was released in 2013. His style focuses on contemporary, commercial salsa designed for dancers.
Following his debut album, Presz continued releasing music as a solo artist. His subsequent output includes the 2019 single "Un Nuevo Amor," "Que Bella" in 2020, and the 2021 singles "Fragmentos" and "Siempre Es de Noche."
