Andy Timbal, born Andy Caceda on June 22, 1976, in Lima, Peru, is a salsa timbalero and percussionist. He began playing the timbales and other Latin percussion instruments at the age of 12 during his school years.
In 2020, he released the single "Siembra - Tributo a Willie Colón y Rubén Blades." He followed this in 2021 with the single "Mi Timbal," a collaboration with vocalist Marcial Isturiz that features a timbal solo performed by Caceda.
